Plane Jam Solver: Airport Jam · Last updated: 27 October 2026

The short version. You can play without signing up: the game creates a guest account automatically, identified only by a random ID. If you choose to save your progress with Google or Apple, we also receive the email address that service shares with us. Your progress is backed up to our cloud database, and a display name, avatar, country flag and weekly score appear on public leaderboards. The game shows ads from Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network, and measures how it is played with Google Analytics for Firebase. We do not sell your personal data, and you can delete your account from inside the game at any time.

1. Who we are

Plane Jam Solver: Airport Jam (“Plane Jam”, “the game”, “we”, “us”) is a mobile game published by devbynight. This policy explains what information the game and these pages (together, the “Service”) collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: devbynight1@gmail.com.

For the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, devbynight is the controller of the personal data described below.

2. What we collect

The game does not ask for or access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, messages or precise location. It has no chat. The information it does handle is:

DataHandled byWhy
Account ID — a random identifier created for your guest account Firebase Authentication (Google) To keep your cloud save and leaderboard entries yours
Email address, and the name your Google or Apple account shares — only if you choose to save with Google or Apple. Apple lets you hide your real email behind a relay address Firebase Authentication To restore your progress on a new or reinstalled device. We never show it to other players and do not email you marketing
Cloud save — level reached, coins, boosters, unlocked characters and items, streaks, which tips you have seen Cloud Firestore (Google) So progress survives a lost or replaced phone. Only your own account can read it
Leaderboard profile — display name, chosen avatar and frame, country flag, levels cleared this week, league trophies Cloud Firestore Weekly leaderboards and leagues. Visible to other players
Advertising ID (Apple IDFA — only if you allow tracking; Google Advertising ID) Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network To show ads, measure them and limit repeats
Device and app information — model, OS version, language, app version; IP address and an approximate location (city or region) derived from it Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Firebase To serve ads the device can show, meet regional rules and detect fraud
Ad interactions — ads requested, shown, completed, rewards earned, and the revenue an ad earned AdMob, Meta Audience Network, Firebase Analytics To fund the game and to detect invalid ad traffic
Gameplay and usage events — levels started, cleared or failed, boosters used, screens opened, rewards claimed, items unlocked Google Analytics for Firebase To find levels that are broken or unfairly hard, and to improve the game
Purchase events — which item you bought, its price and currency Apple / Google (payment), Firebase Analytics (the event) To deliver what you bought and count sales. We never see your card or payment details
App instance ID — a random ID for one installation Google Analytics for Firebase To count players rather than sessions; reset if you reinstall

3. Your account and cloud save

When the game first starts it signs you in to an anonymous guest account. No name, email or password is involved — just a random account ID. Your progress is saved on your device and, when online, backed up to a private record in our cloud database that only your account can read or write.

A guest account lives on one device. To move your progress to another phone, you can choose Save with Google or Sign in with Apple in the game's settings. That links your guest account to the Google or Apple account you pick, and we receive the email address (or Apple's private relay address) and the name it shares. Linking is optional; the whole game can be played without it.

4. Leaderboards and your name

Each week the game posts your score to public leaderboards: Weekly Winners (levels cleared this week) and your League table (trophies this week). Each entry shows a display name, an avatar, a profile frame and a country flag, and is visible to every player.

  • As a guest your name is “Player” followed by a random number.
  • Only players who have saved with Google or Apple can choose their own name. Names are checked against offensive words; please do not use your real full name or anything that identifies you.
  • The flag comes from your device's region setting, not from your location.

5. Data on your device

The game stores your progress, settings (sound, music, vibration), owned items, daily-reward and streak counters, and ad-frequency counters in its private app storage. Uninstalling the app deletes this local copy; a guest account's cloud save can then no longer be reached from a new install unless it was linked to Google or Apple.

6. Advertising

The game is free to play and is paid for by advertising and optional purchases. It shows:

  • Banner ads at the edge of the screen;
  • Interstitial ads between levels — after every second level cleared;
  • Rewarded video ads, which are always optional and play only when you tap an offer (for example to revive, double your coins, or unlock an item). You get the reward only if you watch to the end.

Ads are supplied by Google AdMob, which may fill them itself or through the mediation partner Meta Audience Network. These companies may use the data in section 2 to select and measure ads. See Google's How Google uses information from apps and Privacy Policy, and Meta's Privacy Policy and Audience Network pages. We request only ads suitable for a general audience.

The Remove Ads purchase removes banner and interstitial ads. Rewarded videos stay available, because you choose to watch them.

7. Analytics and app settings

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand, in aggregate, how the game is played: which levels players get stuck on, which features are used, and where players stop. It does not contain anything you type, and we do not use it to contact you.

We also use Firebase Remote Config to change some settings without an app update — for example, to show a message asking you to update when an old version stops being supported. The game sends its version number for this; it does not send personal data.

8. In-app purchases

Purchases (coin packs, Remove Ads, starter and theme packs) are processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play under their own terms and privacy policies. We receive confirmation of what was bought so we can deliver it; we never receive your name, card number or billing address from the store.

EEA, UK and Switzerland: before personalised ads are requested, the game shows a consent message provided by Google's User Messaging Platform. You can accept or refuse; refusing does not restrict the game. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy Options in the game.

iPhone and iPad: the game asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your advertising identifier is used for tracking. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, no IDFA is used and you see less-targeted ads; nothing in the game is locked.

Where the UK or EU GDPR applies we rely on:

  • Contract — to run your account, cloud save, leaderboards and purchases you ask for;
  • Consent — for personalised advertising and tracking, which you can withdraw at any time;
  • Legitimate interests — for non-personalised ads, analytics to improve the game, security and fraud prevention. We consider these balanced against the limited data involved.

11. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. Data is processed by the providers named in this policy — Google (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Remote Config and AdMob), Meta (Audience Network), and Apple or Google for purchases and sign-in. Your leaderboard profile is shown to other players. We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of others.

Under some US state laws, sharing data with advertising partners for targeted ads can count as a “sale” or “sharing”. You can opt out by turning off personalised ads on your device (see section 13) or by declining tracking on iOS.

12. How long we keep it

  • Account and cloud save — until you delete your account in the game, or ask us to.
  • Leaderboard entries — stored per week. Only the current week (and last week's result) is shown in the game; earlier entries stay in the database, unseen, until you delete your account's current entries in the game or ask us to remove the rest.
  • Analytics — retained for the period set in our Firebase project, then deleted or aggregated.
  • Advertising data — kept by Google and Meta under their own policies.

13. Your choices and rights

  • Advertising ID: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS → Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Consent: Settings → Privacy Options in the game (EEA, UK, Switzerland).
  • Your name: once saved with Google or Apple, change it in your profile at any time.
  • Delete everything: see section 14.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email devbynight1@gmail.com and we will answer within the time your law requires. To find your data we may ask for your player name or the player ID shown in the game.

14. Deleting your account

In the game, open Settings → Account → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, your cloud save and your entries on this week's leaderboards, and the game starts again as a new guest. For a Sign in with Apple account, the game also revokes its access to your Apple ID. You can also ask us to delete your data, including past weeks' leaderboard entries, by emailing devbynight1@gmail.com.

15. Children

Plane Jam is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, email devbynight1@gmail.com and we will delete it.

16. Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Our database rules let each account read and write only its own save and its own leaderboard entries. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

17. International transfers

Google and Meta process data worldwide, including in the United States. Where data leaves the EEA or UK they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

18. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced in the game or on this page before they take effect.
