Runway Traffic: Ground Control
Reporting a problem
The three things that make a report actionable:
- Which level, by its number — for example “level 74, Standing Room”. Endless runs, the wave number.
- Your device and OS version — “Galaxy A14, Android 15” is plenty.
- What you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot beats a paragraph.
“I'm stuck on a board”
Every level in the game has been proved solvable by exhaustive search before it shipped, so a board that looks impossible is a board with a line you have not found yet — unless you have run out of hold-short clearances, which is a real, permanent loss and the game will tell you so.
Two things to try first:
- Use a hint. They are unlimited and free. The only cost is that a board solved with help is not recorded as perfect, which leaves you something to come back for.
- Count your permits before you tap. The amber bars beside the hearts are your hold-short clearances, and later boards grant exactly as many as a clean solution needs. Work out which aircraft must be parked before you park any of them.
“The board says GRIDLOCK and nothing can move”
That is the game working as designed, not a bug. Holding an aircraft short is the one move you can spend badly: park the wrong one and that clearance is not there for the aircraft that needed it. When the last permit is gone and nothing can leave, the apron is genuinely stranded and the only way on is to restart the board.
There is no ad-rescue offered on a stranded board, deliberately. Handing back hearts would not help, because hearts are patience and what you have run out of is capacity.
Lost progress
Progress is saved on your device only. There is no cloud save and no account, which means there is nothing we can restore from our side — we never had a copy. Progress is lost if you uninstall the app, clear its data, or move to a new phone.
If progress disappeared without any of those happening, that is a bug worth reporting. Tell us the device and roughly which level you had reached.
Ads
The game is free and has no in-app purchases, so ads pay for it. They are kept off the board entirely — no banner ever covers a puzzle, and rewarded videos only play if you choose to tap an offer.
If an ad ever appears over a board, freezes the game, or cannot be closed, please report it with a screenshot. That is a bug, not the intended behaviour.
To change your advertising choices: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads. iOS → Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you can also reopen the consent message from the in-game privacy option.
How the rules work
- Tap an aircraft and it taxis the way its nose points, straight out to the runway, if the lane is clear. Aircraft cannot turn and cannot reverse.
- Hold short when the lane is blocked: pull the aircraft forward to a holding point and it waits there, freeing the cell behind it.
- Push and start first if an aircraft is nose-in at a stand. It can only push back once.
- Taking a departure is never wrong. If something can leave, letting it leave can never cost you the board. The decisions are all in the hold-shorts.
Privacy and data
The short answer: no account, no sign-in, no analytics, and your progress never leaves your phone. The long answer is the Privacy Policy.

Open Feature requests are welcome too. Several things in the game arrived that way.
